Terms & Conditions

Scope

These terms apply to every offer, quote, order confirmation and agreement made between Shiny Trading Company ("we", "us") and a registered business customer ("customer", "you"). By submitting a quote request or placing an order, you accept these terms.

Business customers only

Shiny Trading Company sells exclusively to registered businesses. A valid Chamber of Commerce (KvK) registration number and VAT/BTW-ID are required before an account is approved and quotes can be issued.

Quotes and orders

Prices shown on the website are indicative and for reference only. No agreement is formed until we issue a quote and you accept it in the customer dashboard. Each quote is valid until the date stated on it, after which prices may be revised due to stock or currency fluctuations.

Purchasing against your order

We do not hold the products offered in stock as standard. After a quote is accepted, we place a purchase order for it with our supplier in China and carry the pre-financing of that purchase ourselves until delivery. The goods are never shipped from China directly to the customer: they first arrive at Shiny Trading Company in the Netherlands, where we receive and check them.

Pricing and payment

All prices are quoted exclusive of freight, import duties and applicable taxes unless explicitly stated otherwise. Payment is made on collection of the goods, after they have arrived in the Netherlands and the customer has had the opportunity to check them, unless the quote states otherwise. Where the order is shipped at the customer's request, the invoice is payable before dispatch. We reserve the right to withhold handover or dispatch until payment is received in full.

Delivery

The lead time communicated in a quote is indicative and not a hard deadline unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing. Delivery takes place by collection from Shiny Trading Company, unless shipping has been agreed in the quote. See our Delivery & Collection page for more detail on collection, freight and lead times.

Retention of title

Title to delivered goods remains with Shiny Trading Company until the corresponding invoice has been paid in full. Risk passes to the customer at the moment of collection or, where the order is shipped, at the moment the goods are handed to the carrier.

Liability

Our liability is limited as described in our Returns & Warranty policy. We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage or lost profits.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies to all agreements between Shiny Trading Company and its business customers. Disputes are preferably resolved by mutual consultation; failing that, the competent court in the Netherlands has jurisdiction.

Amendments

We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time an order is placed applies to that order.

Shiny Trading Company is an independent B2B supplier and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially represented by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo or other rights holders.

All Pokémon products are offered as original, sealed products from the relevant manufacturer.
