Hi, I'm Giovanni, but everyone calls me Gio.

My interest in Pokémon started the day I saw the episode with Ho-Oh in it. That Pokémon has stayed with me ever since. The same curiosity led me to the TCG, and eventually to Simplified Chinese Pokémon cards. I found a market with unique products, unusual releases and the same familiar artwork.

Personal contact, clear agreements and reliable delivery are what I work by.

It started in the school playground: collecting, trading, filling binders, haggling. With the hype the way it is, English cards are not always there to be had.

While I was looking for a cheaper alternative I came across Simplified Chinese. The artworks are its own, and still almost nobody in the Netherlands was buying it seriously. A shopkeeper friend asked for ten booster boxes. Gone within a week. The next request came from someone I did not know. After that it became real: Shiny Trading Company.

Shiny Trading Company is a Dutch importer and supplier of Simplified Chinese TCG. The range runs from sealed booster boxes to single cards. We supply the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany: card shops, web shops and market traders registered there, and nobody else. Three neighbouring countries are an area we can do properly: everything comes in at our address in Rotterdam, you collect there or we ship to you, and you deal with the person you have been emailing.

We buy to order, and keep the financial load on you as light as we can. Wherever possible you pay only once the goods are ready for collection, so your cash stays where it is while we handle the buying.

We know that plenty of shops would rather not carry the burden of importing themselves. That is what we are for. We take the import and the paperwork that comes with it off your hands, and you pay for the goods only once they have arrived.
